"You Must Always Be a Rebel in the Kitchen"
Mistra Estates Ladopoulos Extra Virgin Olive Oil, is a unique Greek olive oil blended from nine olive types native to the groves of Mt. Taygetos near ancient Sparta. These include the famous athenolies, koutsourolies, reftolies, matolies, mourtolies, stroghylolies, karydolies, trypiotikes, and korakolies varieties — all renowned in Greece for deep body, superb color, and uniquely rich texture.
These olives are hand-picked and cold-pressed on the farm estate of Mr. Eugene Ladopoulos. The oil is stored and bottled unfiltered on the farm thus preserving its seasonal bouquet. Each bottle is individually numbered and marked with the harvest year and the harvest/cold-pressed lot.
Each year, our order is bottled to order and doesn’t come out of the settling vat until it’s ready to bottle, meaning your oil was bottled for you!
The result is zero waste and the freshest extra-virgin olive oil you can buy in the U.S.
